Lloyd Segal - Real Estate Investor and Legal Professional

Lloyd Segal is a Los Angeles-based real estate attorney, investor, mortgage banker, author, mentor, and public speaker with more than 30 years of professional experience. After practicing law with a focus on real estate litigation, Lloyd Segal became president of the Los Angeles County Real Estate Investors Association (LAC-REIA), where he has expanded educational programs, workshops, expos, and networking opportunities for investors.

Lloyd Segal earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association. He also studied international law at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. His expertise has led to interviews and appearances with National Public Radio, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Fox Business News, and the Los Angeles Times.

He is the author of several books on real estate and finance, including Stop Foreclosure Now, which was selected as USA Today Book News’ Best Personal Finance Book of the Year, Foreclosure Investing, and Flipping Houses. Lloyd Segal is also an avid horseman and polo enthusiast and a member of the United States Polo Association. He volunteered in disaster recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina in the US and the devastating earthquake in Haiti, and is currently a volunteer with the natural disaster aid organization Mercy Ships.
